Mykola Tomenko: Whole Ukrainian Municipal Hearings Presentation of the Political Fantasy of a President´s Team
Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Mykola Tomenko stressed, analyzing the Ukrainian Municipal Hearings that in the President´s team point of view concerning the organization of the local self-governing bodies during four years "has changed only that nothing has changed".
The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that if the President´s team does not perceive the status of the leaders of the regional power and local self-governing as according to the logical point of view, they should be managed by the s-called "governors" then "there is nothing more to talk about the reformation". "Can you imagine that in European country the chairman of the President´s Secretariat can give directions to the leaders of the local self-governing", - he stressed.
According to M. Tomenko, Viktor Baloga in his letter invited Cities´ Mayors and Chairmen of the local councils for the hearings "On Reformation of the Local-Self-governing System and Administrative-Territorial System in Ukraine", instead the hearings were held under the title" Reformation of the Public Power as an Instrument of the Finance and Economic Crisis Overcoming in Ukraine".
The Vice-Chairman declared that it is difficult to appreciate the motivation of the ideas of the administrative-territorial reformation under the conditions of the crisis.
